Per Gessle - Thai With A Twist

"There was a moment of bliss"

Per's new album Party Crasher has been described as his "dance" record, which is sort of misleading, as about half the songs are ballads. It functions more as a Roxette album, with Marie replaced by frequent collaborator Helena Josefsson. It's a great record, and the upbeat songs (especially dynamite comeback single Silly Really) are the best. Thai With A Twist is another early favorite. It's just so damn catchy. The melody is very reminiscent of Roxette, which is wonderful because I've been waiting for a new Roxette album for years.
